How To Scale Past X

Three reasons why you can't

Hey, it’s Myles from Serendipityy.

I’m sending this email because I’ve seen a lot of brands hit a “limit” with Google Ads and wonder why they can’t spend more to scale.

The answer is often simple but not obvious.

If you’re looking to scale, then this email is for you.

What’s Going On?

Whatever your ad spend limit is, you are likely hitting it due to one or more of these three reasons:

  1. You’re using campaigns that target brand and warm traffic.

  2. You’re measuring the wrong things.

  3. You’ve maxed out “intent” traffic, which means you aren’t reaching new customers.

Why Each Of These Matter & How To Fix Them

To grow your brand and scale revenue, you need new customers.

If you’re spending most of your money marketing to people who already know you (brand & warm traffic), you won't grow.

This is why you need to choose campaign types that target cold traffic, where you have control over who's being targeted as well.

You might be using the right campaign types, but measuring the wrong things.

Often brand owners measure ROAS in their Google Ads accounts, without a good understanding of what this metric tells you.

And if you focus solely on this metric, it can often be the limiting factor of scale.

You should instead measure all your important metrics. Watch this video to learn how.

Finally, you might have 1 & 2 down, but have in fact maxxed out the "intent-based" audience on Google.

This is the portion of the market that is searching for your products.

To fix this problem, you have to move up the funnel, and target more solution aware and problem aware searches.

Or you can target audiences of people with Display & YouTube campaigns, instead of keywords.
